Position Overview:

Carson is seeking a dedicated and customer focused Inside Sales Account Manager focusing on current customer retention and growth in southwest Idaho and northeast Oregon markets. This role is vital to ensuring excellent customer service, efficient order processing, and proactive sales outreach. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Customer Communication
    • Respond promptly and professionally to inbound calls and emails from customers, addressing inquiries, providing product information, and resolving concerns.
    • Proactively reach out to customers to enhance relationships and uncover new sales opportunities.
  • Vendor Pricing and Internal Setup
    • Manage the submission of vendor pricing information and collaborate with internal teams to set up accurate pricing for products.
  • Order Management
    • Perform accurate order entry, ensuring correct pricing, quantities, and delivery details.
    • Review orders for accuracy and completeness, addressing any discrepancies or issues before forwarding them for delivery.
  • Delivery Coordination
    • Communicate with internal departments to track delivery ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) and provide updates to customers as needed.
    • Ensure timely and efficient delivery scheduling and coordination.
  • Proactive Sales Activities
    • Initiate proactive sales calls to customers within your assigned book of business, identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and addressing customer needs.
  • Customer Inquiry Delegation
    • Receive incoming customer inquiries and assess the nature of the request.
    • Delegate inquiries to the appropriate internal departments, ensuring swift and accurate resolution.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are advantageous.
  • Proven experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in using office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in order processing and customer interaction.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Positive attitude, proactive problem-solving skills, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and order processing software is a plus.

Employer Notes:

  • Full time in-office 8am-5pm
  • Competitive hourly rate plus commission.
  • Employer will conduct a background check, drug screen, and driving record check.

 Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

  • Majority of work conducted in office
  • Work can involve moving boxes and employee must lift, bend, stoop, pick up and move objects up to 25 lbs.
