About Carrier
Carrier is a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, committed to creating healthier, safer, and more sustainable environments. With a legacy of innovation and a world-class, diverse workforce, we continue to lead by keeping customers at the center of everything we do. Our performance-driven culture fuels long-term value creation through strategic investments and bold growth initiatives.
The Role
As the Regional Key Account Manager (KAM) for the AME region, you will be relationship architect for our high-value datacenter customer accounts. You will bridge the gap between our cutting-edge cooling technologies (including liquid cooling, Chillers and advanced air handling) and the infrastructure roadmaps of the largest Datacenter builders in Asia Pacific & Middle East region. Your goal is to position Carrier as a strategic technology and business partner for the customer. To thrive in this role, you need a unique blend of relationship-building skills, financial acumen, strategic outlook and technical curiosity
Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive Account Mapping: Identify, map, and cultivate deep relationships with all key stakeholders across the customer ecosystem—ranging from C-suite executives, procurement heads to regional site operations managers and engineering leads.
Cross-functional Engagement: Establish multi-level touchpoints at both the customer’s Asia Pacific/Middle East Headquarters and their decentralized regional teams across all critical functions (Design, Sustainability, Procurement, and Construction).
Early-Stage Engagement: Intercept opportunities during the concept and design phases of datacenter planning, long before a formal RFP is issued.
Planning-to-action: Translate strategic discussions into tangible, multi-year, multi-country business plans. Act as the regional anchor, supporting country-specific sales teams with tactical intelligence and strategic alignment to close local deals.
Solution Co-Engineering: Synthesize trends to position our cooling portfolio proactively. Partner with customer engineering teams to tailor, optimize, and co-design cooling solutions that match their specific Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) targets.
Cross-functional leadership: Serve as the internal champion for your accounts. Work with Product Management, R&D, Marketing and Operations to ensure custom solution requests and supply chain timelines match customer deployments.
Commercial Excellence: Lead complex, multi-million-dollar regional contract negotiations, establishing Master Service Agreements (MSAs) that maximize profitability while protecting long-term partnership health.
Data-Driven Governance: Monitor rigorous sales metrics and KPIs, providing clear, forecast-accurate pipelines and progress reports to the executive leadership team.
Qualifications
8–10+ years of enterprise/strategic sales experience in the Datacenter infrastructure industry (Cooling, Power, or EPC services preferred).
Proven track record of navigating the diverse business cultures and regulatory environments across APAC and the Middle East.
Understanding of datacenter cooling dynamics, sustainability metrics (PUE/WUE) and emerging technologies
Demonstrated success in negotiating complex, large-scale capital equipment contracts/complex bids and multi-year MSAs
