As a Documentation Management Operations Specialist within Documentation Management, you review complex derivatives and financing legal agreements and capture key economic and legal terms into firm systems. You partner with legal, credit, business, operations, and technology teams to resolve documentation questions and support a well-controlled operating framework. You contribute to regulatory-driven documentation activities by delivering accurate, timely, and well-documented outputs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review derivatives and financing legal agreements, including International Swaps and Derivatives Association agreements and Credit Support Annexes, to understand key terms
- Extract meaningful legal and financial parameters from agreements and supporting schedules
- Index captured parameters accurately in firm systems in line with defined controls and procedures
- Identify documentation issues, discrepancies, and disputed points that require follow-up
- Coordinate with internal partners, including legal and credit teams, to drive timely resolution within agreed timeframes
- Partner with stakeholders across legal, business, operations, and technology to support smooth end-to-end processing
- Contribute to building and improving an efficient operating framework for documentation processing
- Collaborate with regional legal operations teams responsible for master agreement negotiation and transaction support
- Support regulatory-related documentation initiatives that require client or entity-level updates to agreements and records
- Maintain strong productivity and quality by applying careful attention to detail and consistent execution
- Document actions, outcomes, and exceptions clearly to support auditability and process transparency
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Demonstrate 3+ years of experience reviewing derivatives master agreements and trade-related documentation in an investment banking or law firm environment
- Apply strong working knowledge of derivative legal documents, including International Swaps and Derivatives Association agreements and Credit Support Annexes
- Use Microsoft Office tools effectively to manage, track, and support documentation workflows
- Communicate clearly in written and verbal form with internal stakeholders
- Prioritize multiple tasks effectively and adjust focus based on business needs and deadlines
- Execute consistently with attention to detail and a strong quality mindset
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team while also working independently when needed
- Meet deadlines through disciplined planning and follow-through
