As a Reference Data Specialist within Party Reference Data, you ensure timely and accurate setup and maintenance of client reference static data in data-centric applications. You partner with requestors and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, validate documentation, and execute updates within agreed timelines. You perform quality checks and apply controls to maintain data accuracy, integrity, and operational risk standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations for client account setup, maintenance, and profile updates.
- Maintain client reference data in the repository by completing onboarding, amendments, hierarchy changes, static updates, mergers, and deactivations within timelines.
- Validate documentation thoroughly to support accurate processing.
- Verify requests are received from authorized sources before taking action.
- Clarify request details with requestors to ensure requirements are fully understood.
- Perform quality checks to confirm static and reference data accuracy after updates.
- Follow procedural guidelines consistently to ensure no missed steps.
- Serve as the primary contact for internal stakeholders to enable effective communication.
- Monitor controls and operational risk adherence aligned to established control frameworks.
- Resolve open issues and escalations proactively and keep management informed.
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Hold a university degree.
- Bring 2+ years of experience in financial services or related industries.
- Demonstrate fluency in written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
- Apply proficiency in party reference data, client onboarding, and know your customer (KYC) processes.
- Use advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
