In this role, you will be instrumental in the Powertrain & Thermal Technical Center of Vehicle Development Division

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Powertrain & Thermal calibration providing deep technical knowledge, guidance, and support across multiple programs and functional teams
  • Lead and support the development, calibration of features, functions, control logics within the area of Powertrain & Thermal calibration ensuring conformance to all technical, quality, cost, and timing requirements
  • Act as the technical authority for Powertrain & Thermal calibration ensuring design intent, best practices, and innovation are embedded across all development phases
  • Support design reviews, risk analysis, supplier engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure robust technical delivery
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY 
  • Provide expert-level technical leadership and decision-making within Powertrain & Thermal calibration 
  • Define and maintain control logics, calibration technical specifications, performance targets, and interface requirements
  • Ensure solutions are compliant with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Lead problem-solving activities and root cause analysis related to domain-specific issues
  • Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to engineers and stakeholders on best practices and latest technologies
  • Support innovation, research, and continuous improvement initiatives within Powertrain & Thermal calibration


Requirements

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE 
Education: At least, Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred) 
Experience: Minimum 8–10 years in Powertrain & Thermal calibration including: 

  • System/component design and development 
  • Cross-functional collaboration and project delivery
  • Supplier engagement and technical negotiations 
  • Design verification, validation, and issue resolution 
  • Tools: Proficiency in relevant EE tools such as INCA/MDA, Vector/CANalyzer and MATLAB Simulink. Driving license mandatory 
  • Standards: Working knowledge of applicable regulations, safety standards, and design methodologies 
CORE COMPETENCIES 
  • VCU, CCU Calibration background
  • Automotive EE architecture, software & Calibration development processes
  • Technical problem-solving and root cause analysis
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement  

SOFT-SKILLS 

  • Demonstrated agility in operating within matrixed organizations and teams
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, and active learner with strong interpersonal skills to perform successfully in multi-national relationships
  • Excellent communication skills and able to build strong collaboration with cross-functional teams from different areas of the company and with the key supplier
  • ​Strong resilience and ability to deal with high pressure situations using a logical data driven approach
