We’re Looking For A(n): Social Media/Community Management Intern (Reddit)
Location: Remote
What You’ll Be Doing: The Reddit Intern will manage three branded Reddit accounts by creating posts, engaging with users, and supporting each brand's Reddit strategy. This role will work closely with the Social Media team and an external contractor to maintain an active presence on Reddit and monitor relevant conversations.
- Manage three branded Reddit accounts.
- Create and publish 2–3 Reddit posts per week for each brand.
- Respond to comments and engage with Reddit users following brand guidelines.
- Encourage discussion and interact with community members through comments, upvotes, and other engagement.
- Research relevant subreddits and trending topics.
- Develop Reddit strategies tailored to each brand.
- Partner with our external contractor on content planning, meetings, and monthly reporting.
- Track Reddit activity and identify opportunities to improve engagement.

- Strong understanding of Reddit, its communities, and platform etiquette.
- Familiarity with current online and social media trends.
- Ability to identify relevant conversations and respond quickly with brand-appropriate content.
- Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence.
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working with internal teams and external partners.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Media, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Active Reddit user with knowledge of how different communities operate.
- Previous experience managing or growing social media accounts for a brand, company, organization, or campus group.
- Experience creating content and engaging with online communities across social media platforms.
- Interest in social media, community management, or digital marketing.
- Understanding of Reddit's growing role in AI search and online discovery.

The base salary range is $17.00-$20.00.
The posted salary range in this job posting reflects data based on California's cost of labor analysis. This salary range is subject to change per state; please click here to find the pay differential in your state of residence if the role is remote”
