Job Title: Red Hat OpenShift Engineer
Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)
Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2
Salary Range: $100,000–$150,000 Annually
Experience Required: 6+ years

 Job Summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Red Hat OpenShift Engineer to design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade OpenShift platforms across on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in OpenShift, Kubernetes, Linux, automation, and CI/CD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
  • Automate cluster provisioning, upgrades, and lifecycle management using Ansible, Terraform, Helm, and GitOps (Argo CD).
  • Configure networking, storage, security, and multi-tenant OpenShift environments.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Tekton, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Argo CD.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, disaster recovery, and platform security.
  • Collaborate with development teams, optimize workloads, and mentor junior engineers.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of container platform experience, including 3+ years with Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux, and container networking.
  • Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or Helm.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Bash, Python, or Go scripting.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Red Hat OpenShift certification.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of Service Mesh (Istio/Linkerd), GitOps, and regulated environments (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2).
