Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Recycle Associate to support the cleanliness, organization, and safety of our facility. This role plays a key part in maintaining housekeeping standards by monitoring trash levels, removing and baling recyclable materials, and supporting production flow—all while working as part of a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do
Safety First
- Actively support our safety commitment.
- Perform all job duties in strict adherence to company safety policies, procedures, and behaviors.
- Operate baling equipment safely and efficiently to bale cardboard, plastic, shrink wrap, and other materials as needed.
Quality & Reclamation
- Reclaim products and materials according to established company procedures.
- Support quality standards through proper waste handling and material management.
Production Support
- Work in a fast-paced, production-based environment.
- Maintain consistent productivity to meet operational expectations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by site leadership.
Housekeeping & Facility Care
- Practice sanitation, “Clean as You Go,” and strong housekeeping habits throughout the shift.
- Monitor trash levels in compactors, open-top containers, and trash lines, and report when service is needed.
What We’re Looking For
Physical & Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. consistently throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions, including bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting.
- Comfortable working on your feet in a production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with pallet jacks.
- Prior baler, machine operation, or warehouse/manufacturing experience (preferred, not required).
- Forklift experience and certification a plus—training and certification provided if needed.
- High School Diploma, GED, or comparable work-related experience preferred.

Skills Required
- Comfortable working in a refrigerated part of the building
- 3+ years in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or similar environment
- Experience with inventory, purchase orders, and reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume work
- Proficiency in Excel
- JDE experience
- Spanish speaking
- Team-focused mindset with strong communication skills
