Job Description

Recycling Assistant manages daily waste operations, including separating and disposing of cardboard, plastic, foam, and general waste. Priorities include safety, quality, sustainability, and teamwork. 

• Sort plastic, cardboard, and foam waste.
• Maintain machinery, report issues to Manager.
• Coordinate disposal collection, clean factory areas.
• Ensure safety protocols, collaborate with team.
• Perform ad hoc tasks.
• Alert Manager: ¾ full cardboard auger, 4+ pallets plastic or foam ready for collection.
• Operate specialised machinery.

Qualifications

• LF ticket is essential for this position. 
• Preferably experienced with appliances, furniture, or bulky items.
• Strong safety focus and keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in multitasking.
• Excellent team player with good communication skills.
• Possesses a proactive and can-do attitude.

Additional Information

• Permanent full-time position.
• Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm.
• $56,000 + super.
• Free onsite parking.
