Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and people-oriented Recruitment Intern to support our Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Operations functions. This internship offers hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment, candidate management, onboarding coordination, stakeholder communication, and recruitment administration. The ideal candidate is confident, organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a positive candidate experience while collaborating effectively with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Recruitment Support
- Source candidates through job boards, social media platforms, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
- Screen applications and assist in identifying qualified candidates based on hiring requirements.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Support onsite hiring activities, recruitment events, job fairs, and career fairs.
Onboarding & Candidate Management
- Coordinate pre-employment requirements for newly hired employees.
- Schedule and monitor completion of pre-employment medical examinations and other onboarding requirements.
- Provide timely updates and guidance to candidates regarding onboarding processes and deadlines.
- Ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience for new hires.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Communicate and collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, operations leaders, trainers, and other internal stakeholders regarding hiring needs and interview schedules.
- Provide timely updates on candidate progress and onboarding status.
- Assist in coordinating recruitment-related activities across departments to support hiring goals.
Recruitment Operations & Administration
- Maintain accurate recruitment trackers, candidate databases, and hiring records.
- Organize and manage recruitment-related documents and reports.
- Assist in preparing recruitment updates.
- Provide administrative support to recruiters and hiring managers as needed.
- Support various recruitment and HR projects assigned by the team.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident, professional, and comfortable interacting with candidates and internal stakeholders at various levels.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Possesses a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates empathy, professionalism, and a customer-service mindset when dealing with candidates and employees.
- Proficient/familiar in Microsoft Office applications.
- Eager to learn, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active participation in school organizations, leadership roles, volunteer work, or student councils.
- Interest in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Employer Branding, or Recruitment Operations.
