Job Summary:
Supports the talent acquisition strategies from recruitment, offer, onboarding and orientation. Acts as a key member in terms of achieving system/regulatory compliance objectives and quality of hire/retention goals. Plays a strong role in ensuring that we attract and retain outstanding talent by providing input into making improvements upon the systems and processes from recruitment to onboarding to orientation and the first 90-days of a new employee’s experience.
Job Duties:
- Collaborates with the talent consultant and talent specialist and other members of the Geisinger talent team to develop the visit itinerary to ensure the delivery of an exceptional experience for the candidate and their family.
- Partners with key stakeholders in Credentialing, Employee Health, HR and Department Operations to create and implement standard work which delivers a well-coordinated, synchronized on-boarding experience, achieves the candidate experience goals and is compliant with all regulations and Geisinger policies.
- Assists with sending interview feedback requests via the company Applicant Tracking System (Virtual Edge) and ensures timely completion by hiring managers.
- Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding and consistent application and coordination of the Geisinger relocation process and policy.
- Engages and partners with key stakeholders to create and implement standard work which delivers an orientation agenda that acclimates new employees to our culture and the Geisinger commitment to caring.
- Partners with colleagues in HR to implement and coordinate creative programs and strategies designed to retain and engage talent in areas of high turnover and hard to fill roles.
- Distributes reports on data related to enhancing the first 90-days of the candidate’s employment experience, improving first-year performance and increasing first-year retention.
- Partners with the talent consultant and talent specialist to determine enhancements and improve results.
- Distributes a standardized 30 and 60 and 90-day check-in electronic survey for newly hired employees in areas of high turnover and hard-to-fill with a focus on first-year retention and an enhanced candidate employment experience.
- Partners with talent consultant and talent specialist to review data for each phase of the first 90 days.
- Distributes 90-day check in electronic surveys to hiring managers with positions of high turnover and hard-to-fill roles with a focus on first-year retention and an enhanced employee experience.
