Job Summary:
The Recruitment Coordinator plays a key role in supporting talent acquisition efforts across Atlantic Canada and Ontario. As a member of the Recruitment team, this position is responsible for coordinating recruitment activities, supporting candidate assessment and selection processes, and ensuring a seamless pre-employment and onboarding experience for new hires.
This hands-on role manages recruitment administration, maintains the applicant tracking system, and supports a variety of talent acquisition initiatives. The Recruitment Coordinator serves as an ambassador of the company's employer brand by delivering an exceptional candidate experience and fostering strong relationships with candidates, educational institutions, community partners, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage job posting records, ensuring consistency with approved job templates, branding standards, and formatting requirements
- Coordinate the posting of employment opportunities across internal and external recruitment platforms and conduct initial resume reviews to identify qualified candidates
- Evaluate candidate qualifications against job requirements, requisition criteria, and competency profiles, providing recommendations to recruiters and hiring managers
- Maintain accurate candidate records within Oracle Recruiting Cloud, including profile updates, document management, and data integrity audits
- Support full-cycle recruitment activities for co-op and summer student programs, including job postings, candidate communications, interview coordination, and student engagement initiatives
- Research and stay informed on government employment programs, grants, and workforce development opportunities that support recruitment strategies
- Administer and promote the Employee Referral Program, including employee communications, tracking, and reporting
- Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure an efficient, positive, and candidate-focused recruitment process
- Additional duties as required
Technical Requirements:
- Post secondary education within human resources, business administration, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 software, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); Oracle Recruiting Cloud experience is considered an asset
- Familiarity with online recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and other job boards
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Previous experience in recruitment, human resources, administration, or a customer-service focused environment
