Recruitment Coordinator
As a recruiting coordinator, you will need to be a critical thinker and highly organized. You will need to know basic computer skills. Knowledge of social media is preferred, especially sites like LinkedIn and Indeed. You will be the point of communication between job applicants and the hiring team so effective communication skills are a must.
Although this position is remote, candidates MUST be local to the Phoenix Metro area.
Responsibilities for Recruiting Coordinator
- Work within a team to understand and participate in the recruiting plan
- Write job descriptions and post them online or in the ATS data base
- Interact with different organizations and state agencies in acquiring qualified applicants
- Manages recruiting contacts and partners in the community
- Work with local colleges and technical schools for applicants (job boards)
- Maintain applicant data base (Workable)
- Sourcing of new candidates
- Telephone pre-screening of applicants
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with applicants and managers or clients
- Updating candidate tracker on a daily basis
- Maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates
- Be an active participant in identifying changing recruiting trends
- Perform administrative duties as assigned
- Resume formatting
Qualifications for Recruiting Coordinator
- 1+ years of recruiting experience
- Working knowledge of social media
- Ability to conduct several types of interviews (in person, online, phone)
- Preferred knowledge of HR databases and candidate management systems but not required training will be provided
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize, must be highly organized
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft suite of software- Outlooks, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
- Ability to work independently and with a team
