We are seeking a Recruiting Specialist in Mount Pleasant, MIwho is highly detail-oriented, has a positive attitude, and is self-motivated. 

The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for managing and supporting the full-cycle recruitment process for corporate and field-based positions. This role partners closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, attract qualified candidates, coordinate interviews, and ensure a positive candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding.

The ideal candidate is organized, personable, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple open positions in a fast-paced environment.

You Have:

    Key Responsibilities
    • Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination, and onboarding support.
    • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and hiring priorities.
    • Develop and maintain effective candidate pipelines for corporate, property management, maintenance, leasing, and other operational positions.
    • Source candidates through job boards, professional networks, social media, employee referrals, recruiting platforms, and other channels.
    • Review resumes and applications and conduct initial phone or video screenings to assess qualifications and organizational fit.
    • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers while maintaining timely communication throughout the process.
    • Maintain accurate and timely candidate information within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Monitor recruiting metrics, including open requisitions, time-to-fill, candidate sources, interview activity, and hiring outcomes.
    • Build relationships with candidates and represent the company professionally throughout the recruitment process.
    • Assist with employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives to increase awareness of the company as an employer of choice.
    • Support job fairs, career events, college recruiting, networking events, and other talent acquisition initiatives as needed.
    • Ensure recruiting practices are consistent with company policies and applicable employment laws and regulations.
    • Collaborate with HR and hiring teams to improve recruiting processes, candidate experience, and retention.
    • Perform other HR and recruiting duties as assigned.
    Qualifications
    • 2+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or related experience preferred, but not necessary.
    • Experience recruiting for property management, real estate, hospitality, construction, facilities, or other multi-site organizations is a plus.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
    • Excellent organization and time-management abilities with strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and open positions simultaneously.
    • Comfortable using applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office, and recruiting/job-board tools.
    • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
    • Professional, approachable, and customer-service-oriented demeanor.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee and candidate information.
