This 12-week internship is a key piece of Thrivent’s entry-level talent program to ensure a strong talent pipeline to meet the needs of the organization now and into the future. The internship program offers assignments to optimize your skills and experience while giving you exposure to multiple business areas.
Join Thrivent’s Talent Acquisition team as a Recruiting Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting the recruitment of financial advisors. This internship offers exposure to the full recruiting lifecycle, collaboration across teams, and opportunities to contribute to candidate experience and process improvement initiatives.
You’ll work closely with the Advisor Growth Center of Excellence (COE) and regional Advisor Group leaders to support recruiting operations and learn the fundamentals of talent acquisition in a mission-driven organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in building and maintaining a pipeline of diverse candidates and tracking their progress through the selection process 
- Participate in candidate outreach and communication, including scheduling and follow-ups 
- Support Career Overview meetings and learn how to present opportunities to prospective candidates 
- Help coordinate logistics for recruiting events such as career fairs and job boards 
- Learn to use systems like Workday and CRM tools to manage candidate data and reporting 
- Collaborate with recruiting specialists and leaders to identify process improvements 
- Shadow and support the implementation of the Recruiting Playbook and selection best practices 
Requirements
- Recent college graduate or current Senior (Graduating May 2026 preferred) 
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or related field 
- Strong organizational and communication skills 
- Interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR operations 
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment 
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Workday or CRM tools is a plus 
- Takes personal responsibility for the quality and content of the work and complies with information confidentiality requirements where applicable 
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships by collaborating with business partners and teams by fully understanding their needs and consistently meeting their expectations 
- Strong problem identification and analytical skills 
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills 
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint 
- Open to a flexible, hybrid work environment. 
- Ability to work in the United States for indefinite period without sponsorship

The applicable hourly wage range for this full-time role is $23.00-$26.00 per hour, which factors in various geographic regions.
