This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of recruiting operations, candidate experience, and employer brand. You’ll directly shape how candidates experience Sendbird, while ensuring our systems and processes run with precision. As part of a global talent acquisition team, you’ll have visibility, ownership, and the opportunity to grow into a self-guided operator who drives impact across the company.  

This is a temporary full-time position for a 6-month engagement.  Potential conversion to permanent full time, depending on personal and company performance.  

What You Will Do
  • Recruiting Operations (40%)
    • Serve as the Greenhouse ATS power user: manage job postings, maintain clean and accurate data, configure interview kits, and optimize workflows.
    • Partner with recruiters to ensure our recruiting processes are efficient, consistent, and scalable across global offices.
    • Build and maintain weekly, quarterly, and annual recruiting reports from Greenhouse and Gem to support Talent Acquisition leadership.
    • Identify process gaps and partner with the TA team to streamline recruiting operations.
  • Candidate Experience (40%)
    • Partner with recruiters to coordinate candidate scheduling and ensure smooth interview logistics.
    • Own candidate communication touchpoints to ensure clarity, timeliness, and professionalism.
    • Design and deliver “wow moments” throughout the candidate journey to ensure Sendbird stands out as a remarkable place to interview.
    • Support VIP recruiting events, both virtually and onsite.
  • Employer Brand & Marketing Support (20%)
    • Collaborate with Marketing to maintain Sendbird’s employer brand presence across LinkedIn, BuiltIn, and other platforms.
    • Partner with the Social Media Manager to keep recruiting content (blogs, posts, updates) aligned to the content calendar.
    • Draft and publish recruiting-related posts, using ChatGPT and other tools to reduce reliance on Marketing bandwidth.
Who You Are
  • 3+ years of experience in the recruiting landscape with strong familiarity across recruiting workflows.
  • A power user of Greenhouse ATS, with a passion for clean, well-organized systems and data accuracy.
  • Strong process-orientation: able to spot inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and execute changes.
  • Confident using tools like Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, and BrightHire.
  • Skilled at balancing multiple responsibilities—ops, candidate-facing work, and employer branding.
    Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with candidates, recruiters, and executives.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to generate consistent reporting. Dashboard-building experience is a plus.
  • Creative and collaborative—able to partner with marketing and TA to elevate Sendbird’s brand while driving operational excellence.

Pay Transparency

For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location.  To determine our ranges, we utilize a variety of compensation data benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies.   A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role is $45 - $55.  This range is specific to the San Francisco Bay market.  We consider several factors when making final compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs which may cause your specific offer to vary from the amount listed above.

Flexible Work Policy

We offer a flexible work schedule at Sendbird.  We also value collaboration and relationship building.  With those values in mind, we require all employees within an hour's commute range of their local office to gather with their team in the office three days per week as a minimum.  Some of our roles require a more frequent in-office schedule.  Please work with your manager to understand the office time requirements for your position.
