Recruiting Coordinator
Voltage Park is on a mission to make machine learning infrastructure accessible to all, from large enterprises and research universities, to seed-stage startups and nonprofits. As part of this effort, we’re hiring a Recruiting Coordinator. We’re looking for a curious, kind and exceptionally organized person, who thrives on the changing priorities and controlled chaos that is recruiting for a fast-moving, high-growth tech company. If you want a job where no day is the same, from interview coordination, to recruitment operations, social media planning, and recruitment and sourcing, this could be the role for you. As an early hire, your role will be critical to meeting Voltage Park’s goal of building out a truly diverse team and an inclusive culture.
This is a remote role, but we are looking for somebody in the Chicago or LA area who can meet in person a couple of times per month.
What you’ll do:
Interview Coordination:
Provide a high-touch, white glove experience, whether candidates get an offer or not
Help schedule interviews when calendaring can’t be automated, for example, panels requiring blocks of times and multiple interviewers, or where rescheduling is needed
Schedule executive interviews, and/or collaborate with the Executive Assistant for CEO interviews
Applicant Tracking System Management
Become the go-to expert on Ashby, our ATS
Create and organize interview plans and feedback forms, to ensure a smooth and equitable evaluation process for all applicants
Open jobs, post roles, manage templates, disposition candidates
Find and implement processes to automate unnecessary activity and streamline or workflow
Social Media and Employee Branding:
Build out our LinkedIn, BuiltIn, Wellfound, Glassdoor and Handshake profiles
Collaborate on a strategy for growing a diverse team and encouraging candidates who are traditionally excluded from tech companies to apply for our roles
Join specialized slack and discord communities, to help grow a diverse network to share open roles
Recruitment
Build your recruitment skills, starting with resume review, and moving into sourcing, screening and hiring candidates for the Voltage Park team as you grow and we continue to scale
Qualifications:
At least two years of experience with recruitment or HR responsibilities – or relevant, transferable experience in a tech company, ad agency or other fast-paced professional organization
Experience using an applicant tracking system or CRM, and experience with Google Suite
Experience managing a community or building out branding on social media
Experience putting processes into place, automating manual work, and creating systems out of chaos
Phenomenal customer service skills, with a compassion for candidates in the job-seeking process
Meticulous attention to detail – you sweat the small stuff and have a keen eye for accuracy and organization
Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
High emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills with a track record of developing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with and among a diverse group of stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
Low ego and willingness to work on tasks of all sizes within a small team environment. You’re proactive with a “get it done” attitude

Compensation Range: $65K - $75K
