firsthand's team members use their lived experience to build trust with these individuals and support them in obtaining socio-economic assistance and in reconnecting to primary and behavioral care. Support like this creates substantial savings for managed care organizations (Medicaid providers) and taxpayers by decreasing inappropriate healthcare utilization. firsthand is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to join firsthand’s People team. This role will support our Talent Acquisition Specialists in posting new roles, scheduling interviews and owning the offer letter and pre-onboarding process.. It will also help build and scale our talent acquisition operation. This role will have a front row seat to firsthand’s growth, and be an important brand ambassador with our candidates, hiring managers, and serve as a close partner to our Talent Acquisition Specialists.
As a Recruiting Coordinator you will:
- Help build and scale the recruiting infrastructure for rapid scaling and growth
- Manage interview scheduling for the candidates of multiple recruiters and hiring managers across our open roles
- Keep our Applicant Tracking System up to date with candidate records and posting open roles
- Manage our offer letter and pre-onboarding process
- Support ad hoc People team projects as bandwidth and interest allows
- Work to ensure an excellent candidate experience at every stage of the process
You will be a good fit if you have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientationStrong organizational and scheduling skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- 1+ years of experience as a recruiting coordinator, executive assistant, or experience in a fast-paced, high volume position with multiple stakeholders
You also:
- Thrive on feedback, and enjoy collaborating with and influencing colleagues and leaders
- Are happy working in a fluid, sometimes ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment
- Are comfortable moving forward with imperfect information. You are proactive and don’t let the pursuit of perfect get in the way of getting work done
- Have experience in tools including Slack, Google Suite and other tools that support asynchronous work is not required but is a strong plus

Employment with firsthand is contingent upon attesting to medical clearance requirements, which include, but may not be limited to: evidence of vaccination for/immunity to COVID-19, Hepatitis B, Influenza, MMR, Chickenpox, Tetanus and Diphtheria.
