About The Role
The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, engaging, and hiring top talent across both corporate and field operations. Beyond filling positions, the Recruiter serves as a strategic hiring partner; guiding leaders in talent decisions and ensuring a candidate experience that aligns with company values.
The position reports to the Lead Recruiter and supports hiring across multiple departments based on business needs. Candidates must be located in the Houston area and available for onsite interviews and key hiring activities.
What You’ll Do
- Clearly communicate with hiring managers and set up regular weekly calls to provide updates on open roles, candidate pipelines, and hiring needs.
- Develop and execute targeted employment branding and outreach strategies to attract both active and passive candidates across various channels.
- Own full-cycle recruiting for high-impact roles across the business (corporate and/or field).
- Deliver quality over quantity; focusing on candidate fit, readiness, and long-term potential.
- Facilitate onsite interviews; ensuring a professional, welcoming experience for candidates and hiring teams alike.
- Radiate a positive attitude and model flexibility, especially in a department undergoing transformation.
- Act as a champion for change management, adapting quickly to new processes, tools, and priorities with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Help drive adoption of recruiting tools, processes, and systems with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Build strong partnerships with hiring managers by providing strategic guidance, market insights, and pipeline updates.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably in a high-growth or evolving organization.
- Experience hiring for a mix of roles (corporate and/or field preferred).
- High emotional intelligence and strong communication skills; you’re persuasive, clear, and approachable.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Positive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to pivot quickly and stay steady in shifting priorities.
- Experience using ATS systems (Workable preferred), and sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Understanding of recruiting metrics and how to use them to guide performance.
- Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
