As a Recruiter at Micron Technology, Inc., you will provide consultation and counseling to hiring managers, external vendors, colleges, and universities. You will clarify recruiting standard processes and constraints and ensure that applicants understand the details around compensation, interviews, and offers. You will maintain recruiting contacts and provide recommendations for company representatives visiting colleges and universities. You will be responsible for understanding the hiring managers head count needs and make sure there is alignment between headcount priorities for the department and the business needs. You will participate extensively in the sourcing, screening, and interviewing process of candidates. Maintaining current knowledge of the company’s financial position, competitive landscape, and locations will be part of your responsibilities. You will be responsible for hiring team members by maintaining data in recruiting systems, extending and negotiating offers, initiating on-boarding, and finalizing the hiring process. An additional responsibility will be to participate in or lead recruiting projects that support the company’s involvement in ramps, mergers and acquisitions, etc. while focusing on continuous improvement of recruiting processes.
