The Role
Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As a Recruiter, you will support our Japan Retail stores and corporate office in the attraction and acquisition of salaried and hourly talent while evolving all aspects of recruitment tools and processes. You’re a natural relationship builder, partnering with our people leaders to identify talent gaps and future business needs. You are a spokesperson and facilitator for our organization and strive to continuously evolve our excellent candidate and employee experience.
 
From day one, you will be introduced to our core values as an organization and contribute to how we work and collaborate globally as a Talent Acquisition (TA) team.
 
Meet Your Future Team:
You will be the first Arc'Teryx recruiter in Japan and work closely with a Talent Acquisition Manager to help build teams and foundational best practices. You will be supported by a team of energetic global recruiters who are focused on attracting and selecting the very best candidates while ensuring an incredible candidate experience every step of the way.
The TA team is supported by the People and Culture Operations team for our ATS, reporting, configuration, and support strategies.

If you were the Recruiter now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
·       Leading full cycle recruitment, supporting our Japan retail and corporate growth in line with Arc’teryx’s overall talent strategy.
·       Sourcing, interviewing, and assessing candidate skills, experience, and competencies to make hiring recommendations to the business.
·       Collaborating and educating store managers on our recruiting process to ensure clear and unbiased decision making.
·       Partnering closely with HR Business Partners to understand the complete picture of the department headcount and strategic business needs.
·       Advocating for transparency and open feedback for our candidates throughout the process to improve the candidate experience.
·       Managing your external and internal postings, reviewing applications, interviewing, and maintaining candidate records via our applicant tracking system.
·       Coordinating with the different People & Culture teams to ensure new employees are hired and onboarded seamlessly.
·       Supporting the People & Culture team with other projects and hiring commitments as required.
 
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
·       Assisting the Talent Acquisition Manager and business leaders in developing and executing long-term recruiting strategies.
·       Addressing key talent gaps, shortages, or concerns through partnerships with our teams and P&C Business Partners.
·       Building pipeline by actively engaging with our local and global communities to enable the success of our teams.
·       Helping to identify roadblocks in our processes while seeking ways to improve workflows to maximize efficiencies and our time to hire.
·       Actively participating in identifying and supporting TA project and initiatives.
·       Strategically building relationships and supporting in the creation of employer branding initiatives.
 
Are you our next Recruiter?
·       You have 4+ years of recruitment experience in Retail environments.
·       You have strong communication skills in Japanese and English.
·       You have built customized recruitment strategies and can work autonomously.
·       You have strong interpersonal skills with a positive and approachable personality, and a desire and ability to build strong relationships with a customer-service focused mentality.
·       You are not afraid to fail and use every opportunity to learn and share.
·       You are a firm supporter of diversity in the workplace and lead by example.
·       You have strong organizational and time management skills.
·       You have the ability to sensitively deal with confidential information.
·       You are a team player with an ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
