The Role

Title: Recruiter

Location: 148-08 94th Ave. Jamaica, NY 11435 Until end of the year (16-70 Weirfield St. Ridgewood NY 11385 starting January 2025)

Employment Type: Full-Time, weekend flexibility

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 

Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision (with company contribution), Paid Time Off, 401k

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and dedicated EMS Recruiter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates for emergency medical services positions. You will collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies to identify and attract qualified EMS candidates.

  • Conduct interviews, assess candidates' skills, and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.

  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, and networking events, to build a strong talent pipeline.

  • Manage the applicant tracking system and maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and hiring progress.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in EMS recruiting.

  • Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • Proven experience in recruiting, preferably within the EMS or healthcare industry.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the organization.

  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
