Are you a strategic talent acquisition professional ready to build something meaningful? We're seeking an experienced Recruiter to lead our talent acquisition efforts and shape the future of our organization. As a Recruiter, you'll own the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and candidate engagement to closing offers, while partnering closely with hiring managers and leadership to attract top-tier talent that drives our mission forward.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage end-to-end recruiting processes, from job requisition through offer acceptance and onboarding coordination
  • Develop Talent Strategies: Collaborate with department leaders to identify hiring needs, define success profiles, and craft compelling job descriptions that attract qualified candidates
  • Source & Engage Talent: Proactively build talent pipelines using LinkedIn, industry networks, college partnerships, and innovative sourcing methods. Go beyond posting jobs, actively hunt for top talent
  • Screen & Assess: Evaluate applications and resumes with a critical eye, conducting phone screens and assessments to identify candidates who align with both role requirements and company culture
  • Facilitate Interviews: Coordinate interview processes, prepare hiring teams with thoughtful interview guides, and provide candidate feedback and guidance
  • Close Strong Offers: Partner with hiring managers and HR on competitive offers, negotiating terms and ensuring smooth offer-to-close conversions
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain thorough knowledge of EEO, ADA, and employment law to ensure all recruiting practices meet federal, state, and local requirements
  • Build Employer Brand: Represent our company professionally at career fairs, networking events, and on social platforms to strengthen our talent brand
  • Optimize & Innovate: Continuously evaluate recruiting metrics, identify process improvements, and implement best practices to enhance candidate experience and hiring quality

Requirements

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strategic Mindset: You understand recruiting as a business function and can align talent acquisition with organizational goals
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence across all organizational levels
  • Relationship Builder: Natural ability to connect with people, build rapport, and maintain professional networks
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple recruiting initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines under pressure
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, HRIS platforms, and ATS systems. Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar advanced sourcing tools is a plus. Comfortable learning new recruiting technology
  • Compliance-Minded: Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, FCRA, and employment law requirements. Familiarity with diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices is valuable
  • Cultural Ambassador: Passionate about company culture and committed to hiring candidates who will thrive in our environment
  • Specialized Experience (preferred): Background in recruiting for professional/technical roles and/or experience building employer brand or recruiting marketing initiatives

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field, and/or three to five years of recruiting experience.  
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP designations preferred.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
