Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director of Admissions, the Admissions Recruiter primarily works to build the top of the Admissions funnel by visiting high schools, churches, fairs, gap programs, and community colleges in an attempt to generate new leads, increase LBC campus visits, promote new applications, and spark overall interest in Lancaster Bible College.

Travel Required:
- 75% travel
Responsibilities:
- Travel for extended periods of time for recruitment purposes. Including travel periods of up to 75% of the time, with availability for evenings and weekends as needed.
- Coordinate all travel details, such as registering, corresponding to contacts, booking hotel and rental cars, and other related duties.
- Represent the College at selected conventions, retreats, college fairs, churches and high schools.
- Acquire and maintain an in-depth knowledge of traditional undergraduate program offerings and additional information to help promote Lancaster Bible College.
- Identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency in new student recruiting.
- Utilize texting, phone calls, email, and mail to communicate with prospective students in a timely manner, providing superior student service.
- Prepare reports and evaluations as directed by the Director of Admissions. (Example: Number of contacts, inventory of college literature, college fairs, etc.)
- Connect with local youth pastors, high school guidance counselors, alumni, and friends of the college to build relationships and network with Lancaster Bible College advocates.
Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to travel for extended periods of time.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capability to represent the Admissions department and Lancaster Bible College in a professional manner.
- Strong ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment, coupled with the ability to take initiative and be self-motivated.
- Highly charismatic with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented; able to keep track and maintain a busy travel schedule.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to multitask, set priorities and manage time effectively.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Word; working knowledge of Excel.

- Sales or customer service experience preferred.

- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
