Your Opportunity
Scion is paving a path in student living and we’re seeking a talented Recruiter to join us in executing our vision. This position will focus on attracting top talent to the organization, ensuring a world-class candidate experience, and advising internal teams on Talent Acquisition strategy and best practices.
The Recruiter is an articulate professional and excels in a fast-paced, agile, corporate environment. This role demands a combination of administrative skills, unwavering follow-through, excellent communication, and applied critical thinking skills.
Your Responsibilities
- Identify hiring needs and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to clarify position requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Post job ads, source talent, select and coordinate interviews with qualified candidates, conduct interviews, and guide hiring managers and candidates throughout the interview process through offer extension.
- Assist with proactively driving active and passive candidate pipelines, including organizing and managing CRM.
- Build professional rapport with hiring managers and develop effective relationships within the organization and external workforce to positively influence Scion’s talent acquisition and development efforts.
- Advise and supports all teams with recruitment and related best practices.
- Advocate for company’s value proposition to attract, engage, and retain key talent; Equally advocate for the candidate experience and perception.
- Identify, recommend, and implement operational improvements to streamline recruitment processes, gather metrics and increase efficiency.
- Assist with employee referral management.
- Assist with developing and updating job descriptions and offer letters.
- Assist with defining and documenting standardized internal recruitment practices, processes and procedures.
- Participate in training practices and provide training to other teams as required.
- Stay current on company’s organizational structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.

What We Require
- College graduate and 2+ years of recruiting experience is required, preferably a combination of agency and in-house.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with appropriate sense of audience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Familiarity with general recruitment mediums and ATS systems is preferred.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; Attention to detail.
- Prioritizes effectively and meets deadlines.
Operational Details
- Job location is based at Scion’s Chicago corporate headquarters.
- Working hours consist of standard daytime business hours.
