POSITION SUMMARY:
The Recruiter I supports organizational hiring needs by sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates for assigned positions across CAYA Collaborative Care regions (based out of Hopkinsville or Bolwing Green region). This role focuses on building candidate pipelines, managing job postings, and supporting hiring managers through the early and mid-stages of the recruitment
process. The Recruiter I ensures a positive candidate experience while helping fill positions efficiently and in alignment with organizational priorities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Source and identify qualified candidates using job boards, social media
- platforms, referrals, and other recruiting tools
- Review applications and resumes to assess minimum qualifications and job fit
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring
- managers
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the applicant tracking
- system (ATS)
- Create, post, and manage job advertisements for assigned positions
- Communicate professionally with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Assist in extending offers and initiating onboarding steps once hiring
- decisions are made
- Support job fairs, recruitment events, and outreach efforts as needed
- Collaborate with senior recruiters and HR leadership to build and maintain
- talent pipelines
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Lead and organize orientations
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Typically requires 0–2 years of recruiting, human resources, or related experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience using online platforms and social media for candidate sourcing (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Indeed)
- Basic computer proficiency, including applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office tools
JOB REQUIREMENTS / EXPECTATIONS:
- This is a Hybrid position, with the expectation of availability during standard business hours
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer
- Occasional lifting of materials up to 10–20 pounds
