Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth!  Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Recreation Manager at Les Peters Academy in St Petersburg, Florida

Les Peters Academy is a moderate risk residential commitment program for female youth aged 14 to 19. This program provides youth comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based intensive mental health services. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling while in the program.

What you will do: You will work as a staff member of the Student Services Department team. Primarily responsible for providing daily recreational and leisure time that is physically challenging, educational, and constructive. The Recreation Manager reports to the Clinical Director.

To be considered, you should Process: 

  1. BA/BS degree in therapeutic recreation or equivalent with one to three years' experience.
  2. Working knowledge of the Positive Operation Culture.
  3. Leadership ability is necessary to instill high-standard positive attitudes among staff and students.
  4. Demonstrated ability to effectively serve students.
