As a Recovery Officer, you will be responsible for recovery operations within an assigned city - ensuring timely repossession of vehicles, maintaining control protocols, and leading a team of recovery agents with discipline, fairness, and agility.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work closely with field agents to track, locate, and secure assets flagged for recovery.
- Execute recovery tasks in full compliance with SOPs, safety protocols, and local regulations.
- Ensure recovered vehicles are securely returned, documented, and inspected upon receipt.
- Maintain accurate and real-time logs of all recovery attempts, customer interactions, and asset handovers.
- Complete recovery forms, checklists, and incident reports in a timely and complete manner.
- Report daily activity and progress to the Recovery Lead.
- Support community-level negotiations or interventions with customers, guarantors, or law enforcement, as directed.
- Maintain good working relationships with colleagues, agents, and external partners engaged in recovery.
- Escalate unresolved or high-risk recovery cases to the Recovery Lead with complete documentation and incident logs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Proven experience 1-2 years in field operations
- Good understanding of logistics and fleet management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with drivers and customers.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
