About the Role:

As a Recovery Mentor, you will walk alongside patients helping them access housing, benefits, and recovery support services while modeling positive recovery behavior. This is a highly relational role rooted in compassion, accountability, and trust.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support patients in accessing essential community services including sober housing, food, healthcare, employment, and financial aid
  • Facilitate peer-led recovery and life skills groups
  • Accompany and transport patients to recovery-related appointments
  • Serve as a mentor and role model, reinforcing treatment goals and demonstrating recovery-oriented living
  • Assist patients in achieving personal recovery milestones and maintaining momentum after treatment
  • Document patient interactions in electronic health records
  • Engage in team meetings, case conferences, trainings, and recovery-focused events
  • Help build bridges between CODA and community partners in the recovery ecosystem
  • Promote community reintegration and progress in areas like education, housing, employment, and family stability
