Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Operates a lift truck by driving backwards and twisting to be able to look in the direction of
travel on a continual basis.
• Performs routine inspection and preventative maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary
equipment, such as cleaning or recharging batteries, and refer defects or repairs to
supervisor/maintenance.
• Moves controls to drive battery-powered trucks and transports materials between loading,
unloading, processing, and storage areas.
• Moves levers and controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams and
swivel-hooks, hoists, and elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, and stack material.
• Positions lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, and secures
material or products for transport to designated areas.
• Manually loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms or lifting devices.
• Removes product from boxes and/or containers.
• Inspects and evaluates condition of all product brought to recoup area.
• Inspects and evaluates condition of cartons in warehouse and repairs where applicable
• Classify product as to damage, as is, or scrape based on level of damage.
• Repackages appliances in boxes or cartons.
• Completes inventory and restocks cartons where needed.
• Uses scanning devise and computer as needed to perform tasks.
• Completes reports and documentation as needed.
• Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
• Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.

willingness to work the voluntary/mandatory overtime that is required during the busy
season.

division) in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
• Experience: One to two years related experience
• Computer Skills: Basic scanner technology.
• Certificates & Licenses: Valid State Driver’s License; Forklift Certification Preferred
