Records digitization specialist position details:

We are hiring for a Temporary Part Time (20 hours/week) position. The scheduled hours will be flexible between Monday - Friday, 8am - 8pm.

Records digitization specialist job duties include:

  • Prepare paper records for scanning by removing staples, paper clips, bindings, and other fasteners.
  • Scan paper documents using high-speed production scanner while maintaining document integrity.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure scanned images are complete, legible, and properly oriented.
  • Index and organize electronic files according to established naming conventions and document management procedures.
  • Upload scanned records into designated temporary or permanent electronic storage locations, including SharePoint.
  • Maintain accurate tracking logs for all boxes and records processed.

    Qualifications

    Records digitization specialist qualifications: 

    • Experience with handling confidential information is required.
    • Experience with document scanning, records management, or administrative support is preferred.
    • Experience with using Microsoft Office and SharePoint is preferred.
