Records digitization specialist position details:
We are hiring for a Temporary Part Time (20 hours/week) position. The scheduled hours will be flexible between Monday - Friday, 8am - 8pm.
Records digitization specialist job duties include:
- Prepare paper records for scanning by removing staples, paper clips, bindings, and other fasteners.
- Scan paper documents using high-speed production scanner while maintaining document integrity.
- Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure scanned images are complete, legible, and properly oriented.
- Index and organize electronic files according to established naming conventions and document management procedures.
- Upload scanned records into designated temporary or permanent electronic storage locations, including SharePoint.
- Maintain accurate tracking logs for all boxes and records processed.
