The Records Coordinator will work as a member of the Records Department. The Records Coordinator has specific responsibility for record processing in accordance to established procedures and guidelines. The department works closely with personnel within the Records department, Engineering, Quality and Material departments to provide support when needed. This position is not remote and may or not potentially require overtime to support company needs. These records include but not limited to Engineering Change Orders. (ECO), Item Master, Branch Plant, Bill of Materials, PPAP, and STEP. This position is on-site only.
What You Need to Know:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications to include Access, Excel, Powerpoint and Word. Excel is a big plus
- Working knowledge of JD Edwards or equivalent
- Engineering Change Order processes in correlation to Bill of Materials
- Working knowledge of catia drawing file directories and drawing plotter and general office procedures.
- Time Management and prioritizing multiple tasks
What We Are Looking For:
- 2 years of data entry and/or document control experience in a manufacturing environment highly preferred
- JDE Database: Bill of Material entry; JDE updates and maintenance as required
- Engineering Change Order creation in JDE
- PPAP (Production Part Approval Process): Review/Process
- STEP Software: Use as a reference for information needed in other databases.
- Manufacturing Pilots: Action Items/Support/Follow-up
- Request For Quotes : RFQ; Reference, generate as necessary
- Support Engineering as necessary
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong initiative and the ability to be self-directed in prioritizing and completing tasks
- Engaging individual that brings a positive attitude
- Ability to review multiple lines of data accurately
Education and Experience:
- Highschool degree or GED equivalent
- If no higher education, 2 years related experience in data management, document control, or another relevant field.
- One year in plant materials flow is preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to traverse the production facility.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
