Job Description:
A Recording Document Specialist (RDS) is responsible for the examination, preparation and accurate timely submission of real estate documents on behalf of ePN (eRecording Partners) clients. Real estate documents include all documents related to real estate property that are placed on public record at a local County Recorder office. An RDS is also responsible for all functions associated with the submission process including but not limited to:
Examining documents for specified requirements
Researching online County indexes
Tracking communication and modifications to Real Estate documents
Basic accounting and reconciliation of fees paid for daily work
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Regular consistent attendance is required.
Ability to work a specified schedule anytime from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Monday through Friday.
Must be personable, positive and a professional representative of the Company.
Ability to accept supervision.
Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors.
Be the first point of contact for client inquires and questions that may arise.
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone and in person.
Ability to work overtime as requested and approved by supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge of real estate documents, title insurance, or escrow functions is strongly preferred.
Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize and handle large volumes of work with tight deadlines.

The estimated pay range stated represents the typical pay range for this position or similarly employed employees or employees performing substantially similar work. Factors which may be used to determine the actual pay rate may include, but are not limited to, education, training or experience; seniority; merit and work performance; quantity or quality of production; regional differences in compensation; differences in local minimum wages, or ability and effort.
Position's Pay Range:
