Job Title: SME RTR (Record to Report)

Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SME RTR (Record to Report) professional to join our finance operations team in Pune. This role is critical in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in end-to-end Record to Report processes, General Accounting, and Intercompany reconciliation, with proven leadership experience in managing teams within a BPO or MNC environment. You will play a pivotal role in driving process efficiency, supporting period-end closing activities, and ensuring data integrity across financial reports.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end Record to Report (RTR) process, including period-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee General Accounting and Intercompany reconciliation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Supervise and mentor team members, fostering a high-performance culture through effective leadership and motivation.
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of RTR workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve queries, ensure data consistency, and support audit readiness.
  • Utilize desktop and workflow management tools to streamline reporting processes and maintain documentation.
  • Ensure timely delivery of financial statements, management reports, and regulatory disclosures.


Requirements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Master’s in Commerce (M.Com), Master of Business Administration (MBA – Finance), ICWA, or CA.
  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in RTR within a BPO or MNC environment.
  • Proven expertise in the full cycle of Record to Report, General Accounting, and Intercompany reconciliation.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills with demonstrated experience in team management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in workflow and desktop management tools used in financial operations.
  • Logical thinking, analytical mindset, and ability to resolve complex queries efficiently.
  • Flexibility in work hours and adaptability to changing priorities and work content.
  • Must-have: In-depth knowledge of End-to-End RTR Process, General Accounting, and Intercompany reconciliation.
