As a Record to Report Accounting Specialist you’ll be responsible for coordinating of the Record to Report end to end process execution and driving the process improvements in cooperation with different Finance teams. In addition you’ll be part of the Signify Europe ARIC (Accounting, Reporting & Internal Controls Team) which is concentrated on driving the RTR processes across the European organizations and bringing the added value through improvements in the daily processes, moreover, closely working with the accounting transactional team.

What you’ll do

• You’ll be a part of the execution and compliance of all record to report processes, which includes Month End Closure, Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, Trial Statement Review, Balance Sheet Review and Journal Vouchers.
• You’ll safeguard the compliance with accounting standards and regulations Signify Accounting Principles, IFRS, local GAAP, local regulations, directives.
• You’ll execute internal controls related to your domain in a timely and accurate manner.
• You’ll support audits with documentation and process descriptions a.o.

Your qualifications

• You have a Master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance and/or Accounting, Business administration.
• You have at least 5 years of accounting experience in a multinational and complex matrix organization in RTR or similar finance department.
• You have experience in shared services and in monitoring a service provider.
• You master in end-to-end finance and accounting processes and you are familiar with the Statutory processes.
