Description
  • Lead and supervise the team in the daily reconciliation operations, ensuring timely completion in line with agreed BAU SLI turnaround times.
  • Plan and allocate daily work, monitor outstanding items and ensure adequate team coverage, including during peak periods and public holidays.
  • Review reconciliation results, ageing items and exceptions to ensure accuracy, completeness and timely follow-up until closure.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues, control gaps and reconciliation outages, and coordinate timely resolution with Business Units and relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with established procedures, reconciliation standards and internal controls, and support audit, risk and compliance reviews when required.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and on-the-job training to team members, and support capability development and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Monitor team performance and service delivery, identify recurring issues and drive process improvement, automation and efficiency initiatives.
  • Coordinate and support projects, system enhancements, testing, implementation and post-conversion activities, including tracking deliverables and issues to completion.
  • Provide regular updates to management on operational status, key risks, ageing items, incidents and project progress.
  • Support in ad-hoc /admin tasks assigned.

  • Possesses a Degree in Accountancy/Finance or ACCA, audit experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge on banking products or at least 10 year working experience in banking industry is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Ms Office Application, especially Excel
  • Strong Analytical Skill & Good communication skills
  • Meticulous, highly motivated, focused, results-oriented, strong drive for excellence.
  • Required to work during MY public holidays which is not SG public holidays
  • Must have experience in supervising or leading a team within banking operations, reconciliation, finance or a related control function
  • Demonstrates strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, stakeholder management and people development skills.

Skills Required

  • Degree in Accountancy or Finance, or ACCA qualification
