Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a Recognition & Events Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This experienced professional will be responsible for the organization’s recognition program. This will include day-to-day administrative processes, including maintenance of the organization’s recognition platform, unit budgets, and employee inquiries. The incumbent will design, develop, plan, and execute the organization’s employee recognition events; work with communications and marketing, as well as outside vendors, to ensure success and turnout.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, Political Science, or related field or seven or more years of relevant experience in the field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in recognition, event planning, communications, and/or marketing.
- Experience organizing events of at least 1,000-attendee turnout.
- Experience managing healthcare-industry recognition events.
- Experience working in healthcare industry and handling recognition for patient care employees, particularly providers, preferred.
- Experience with Workday or other ERP systems (Oracle, SuccessFactors, etc) preferred.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, and ability to interact with employees, leaders and providers.
- Organizational and project management skills
- Self-starter and can work independently
- Exhibits guiding behaviors that reflect Children’s values and support our mission and vision.

This role will be primarily remote, with the ability to travel onsite as needed to attend meetings, tour venues, etc.
