About the Role 

We’reseeking a proactive, organized, and personable Receptionist to serve as the face of our New York office and help create a welcoming, polished, and professional environment for employees, guests, and clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys front-office coordination, provides excellent customer service, and can also support occasional project-based work on an as-needed basis. 

 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Serve as the first point of contact at the front desk—greet and check in guests and clients with warmth and professionalism  
  • Maintain a tidy and organized lobby and break room areas  
  • Coordinate office maintenance needs and liaise with building management or vendors as needed  
  • Monitor and restock snacks and office supplies regularly  
  • Assist employees with shipping labels and occasional mailroom or package coordination  
  • Manage requests for competitive benchmark samples, including coordinating and ordering items as needed 
  • Provide project support on an as-needed basis across teams 

 

Qualifications  

  • 2+ years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or office coordination role 
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • Professional demeanor and customer service-oriented mindset  
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams) and basic office technology  
  • Proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment  
  • Able to support occasional project-based work across teams as business needs evolve 

 

What We Offer  

$30-35/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.  This role is based in NYC and is expected to be in the office five (5) days a week.
