Job Description Summary:
This position is responsible for handling incoming calls and directs callers to appropriate staff. He/She greets, assists and directs visitors. The receptionist opens, sorts and distributes mail, performs data entry/typing and office clerical duties (as assigned). This position may make outbound calls relaying basic information to patients and customers.Responsibilities And Duties:
70%Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department. Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable. Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information. Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel. Monitors visitor access and issues passes when required. Schedules appointments as necessary. May make outbound calls to patients with scheduled time or relaying basic instructions.

Performs clerical duties as needed, such as data entry/light typing, filing, photocopying, faxing and maintaining office supplies.

Minimum Qualifications:
