Job Description:

We are seeking a professional and highly organized Legal Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice at our client's downtown Houston office. In this pivotal role, you will ensure smooth office operations by managing receptionist responsibilities, supporting administrative functions, and maintaining client confidentiality. If you thrive in a professional business environment, possess strong technical acumen, and can provide elevated concierge style customer service we invite you to join the our dynamic team.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Ability to collaborate with client/client staff/team members to assist the office

  • Organization & upkeep of reception desk/front lobby area

  • Greet/check-in/notify of visitors in a friendly, professional manner

  • Answer incoming calls (forward when needed, or take accurate & complete message)

  • Email correspondence (monitor/respond to incoming emails, provide email notice/updates, etc.)

  • Calendar appointments/meetings, reserve resources such as conference spaces & visitor offices

  • Maintain conference spaces & assist with event/meeting set-ups (conference room set-ups, order/set-up of catering orders, etc.)

  • Regular order/stock of supplies for kitchen, convenience & storage areas, as well as upkeep

  • Handling/delivery/preparation of mail, parcels, packages, etc.

  • Use of service ticket software to track requests handled

  • Other administrative duties as requested (general copy/print/scan jobs, filing & label creation, library-update assignments, etc.)

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum of 1 year work experience preferably as a Receptionist

  • Previous experience in a client service field preferred

  • Ability to multitask with attention to detail

  • Ability to handle complaints with diplomacy, patience, & professionalism

  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, & Teams

  • Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater

  • Ability to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs.

  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time

  •  Hours of operations 8:30am to 5:00pm

The Compensation range for this role is 15.00 to 18.00 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
