Receptionist

Job Description

The Receptionist focus specializes in greeting, screening, and directing visitors. Responsibilities may include assigning conference rooms, performing basic clerical duties, and answering incoming calls. Receives and directs visitors, employment applicants, salespersons and customers to appropriate locations and parties. Notifies personnel of visitor arrival. May perform related clerical work such as word processing. May use company intranet, TEAMS, FedEx or other computer-based systems. Additional duties may include filing, sorting, mail distribution and completing special projects. Currently need help with shipping a significant amount of boxes to one of our other locations. Finding a storage place. Cleaning out cubicles for them to be taken down and new ones to be assembled.

After the special move projects are finished, this position has the potential to turn into a permanent position. Additional duties would include keeping the shipping room, office supplies and kitchen stocked. Creating purchase requisition for the team in our purchasing software.
