Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, working a mixture of shifts between 7:00am and 7:00pm (7:00am-11:00am, 11:00am-3:00pm, and 3:00pm-7:00pm)
Contract: Part Time
Rate of Pay: £12.71 per hour
We are currently recruiting for a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team in Catterick. What you'll be doing
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers, visitors, and stakeholders
- Becoming fully competent in bespoke military software applications
- Managing telephone calls, emails, and face-to-face enquiries professionally
- Drafting emails and correspondence for both internal and external recipients
- Monitoring and maintaining shared electronic mailboxes
- Responding to routine queries and escalating more complex matters to line management when required
- Providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office
- Working independently and as part of a team to achieve operational objectives
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times
What we're looking for
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
- Previous administration experience and a sound understanding of office processes
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads effectively
- Previous experience working within a military administrative environment is desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence preferred

- Must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK
- Must be able to successfully pass security vetting
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DBS check
