JOB SUMMARY:
The receptionist is the face of the center and will warmly welcome guests who visit the center and answer cheerfully manage phone calls.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the center in a cheerful and professional manner.
- Request all visitors check in per facility policy.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate location.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls appropriately.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
- Maintain visitor security by following safety procedures.
- Schedule Beauty and Barber appointments.
- Receive and receipt resident trust and operating funds.
- Disperse Resident Petty Cash.
- Support and serve as back-up to other Business Office Staff.
- Assist Business Office Manager, and other center employees with general office duties, as assigned.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, scanning, copying, and faxing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Education or equivalent, preferred.
- Previous experience working in an office setting preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe.
- Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity.
- Ability to be flexible, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work as part of a team.
Skills Required
- High school education or equivalent
- Previous office experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
