SUMMARY (Basic Purpose of the Job)Education:High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience:One year of prior related experience in an office preferred, including working with customers.

Knowledge and Skills:Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication and presentation skills appropriate for audience comprehension. Ability to perform multiple duties and functions related to daily operations and maintain excellent customer service skills. Ability to perform frequent detailed tasks and provide immediate service with frequent interruptions. Ability to change and be flexible with work priorities.
Special Training:Proficient with Microsoft product suite (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.); basic knowledge and experience with electronic mail and calendaring system. Knowledge of data entry systems necessary, scheduling experience preferred. Ability to type with speed and accuracy. Ability to use other software as required to perform the essential functions of the job.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Provides information regarding services to participants, families, outside agencies, and the general public.
- Maintains participant identification card system and attendance records.
- Handles Administrative Assistant duties as needed during planned and unplanned absences for specified time or sensitive tasks.
- Ensures customer satisfaction by greeting and directing visitors in a polite, helpful manner.
- Prepares a variety of periodic and special reports from several sources, compiling such data and arranging it into a proper format.
- Follows all safety, security, infection control and hazardous material policies and procedures; performs all tasks to assure resident and personal safety, as well as the protection of co-workers and facility property.
- Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Capital Health Mission and Vision to all internal and external customers (Participants, visitors, volunteers, and colleagues.) Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, propagating a calm environment throughout the office.
- Executes assignments in a culture that is shared and collaborative across all divisions within LIFE. Performs all assigned tasks in accordance with our established policies and procedures, and as instructed by the supervisor. Follows work assignments, and/or work schedules in completing and performing your assigned tasks.
