Job Description

We’re looking for a Receptionist Intern who enjoys creating a welcoming and organized workplace and has a natural talent for communication. In this role, you’ll play an important part in supporting the daily operations of our Lausanne office and helping to make it a positive and efficient environment for everyone. 

As a Receptionist Intern, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, such as greeting visitors, supporting office logistics, and assisting with weekly internal events. You’ll be part of the People & Talent team and will collaborate with different departments, giving you the opportunity to learn about office coordination, employee experience, and workplace culture. 

You will report to the Workplace Team Lead and work closely with the local team to support daily operations and contribute to a great employee experience. 

Workplace Duties 

  • Support the daily operations and overall upkeep of the Lausanne office, including meeting rooms and common areas. 
  • Welcome visitors and employees, manage mail and deliveries, and ensure a professional front-desk presence. 
  • Monitor and restock office and kitchen supplies. 
  • Assist with onboarding new employees and communicating basic health, safety, and security guidelines. 
  • Help organize internal events and team activities, and contribute to initiatives around sustainability and well-being. 
  • Provide general administrative support and act as a point of contact for workplace-related queries.

Qualifications

  • Ideally studying or recently graduated in hospitality, administration, or a related field in Switzerland. 
  • Friendly, professional, and service-oriented mindset, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented, with a proactive and curious attitude. 
  • Comfortable using basic office tools (email, calendar, spreadsheets). 
  • Fluent in French and English; other languages are a plus. 
  • Available to work on-site in Lausanne; prior hospitality or customer service experience is an advantage.
