ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES:
A. Acts as the face of the parish family to visitors, members of the community, and vendors and others, both on the phone and in person. Ensures that messages are forwarded accurately and in a timely manner.
B. Helps to maintain the ParishStaq parish database, making changes, additions, and deletions as needed, and assisting with mailings and data entry.
B. Assists families with funerals, faith formation and sacramental requirements by providing appropriate parish contacts, materials, forms, etc.
C. Assists families with Mass requests, Mass cards, and stipend information.
D. Prepares and distributes needed materials for Masses and various collections
E. Assists parish councils and ministries with any needs or requests that they have.
F. Assists those in need with referrals to the appropriate resources.
G. Maintains facilities calendars.
H. Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsA. A professional attitude and appearance.
B. Excellent organization skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and learn quickly.
C. Administrative skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office software and the ability to write clearly and grammatically.
D. High school diploma or GED. Some college experience is preferred.
E. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
F. Faithful and practicing Catholic with a commitment to growing in the faith.
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
