What you’ll doAre you a customer service-minded individual who feels a sense of accomplishment and reward when your to-do lists are checked off and complete at end of the day? The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional who is comfortable communicating and interacting with both internal and external clients and who is able to manage a variety of office support tasks and work diligently in an organized and efficient manner.
The Office Services Professional is a full-time, on-site contract role located in Dallas, Texas reporting to the Office Manager. Working hours are 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This is an approximate 6-month assignment with longer term potential. Paid relocation is not available.
- Answer main phone line; determine purpose of calls and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department; answer questions about the firm and provide callers with address, directions, and other information.
- Serve as “concierge” for the office: Greet guests, determine nature of business, and announce guests to appropriate personnel. Authorize guests’ access to the office.
- Issue office access cards when required.
- Accept deliveries and notify appropriate staff in a timely manner.
- Maintain clean reception area and pantry upkeep:
- Clean and maintain kitchen snack and soda inventory
- Stock shelves & refrigerator
- Make coffee
- Empty/fill dishwasher
- Assist staff at various levels with administrative duties as requested.
- Schedule meetings and book conference rooms/offices including catering and post-meeting clean-up.
- Create and edit correspondence, files, and indexes.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two (2) years’ receptionist experience with a professional services firm preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years’ administrative experience preferred.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills required with the ability to interact and communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers at all levels
- Professional attire/presence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must be flexible and adaptable when procedures change, or urgent situations arise.
- Effective organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and an ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential.
- Resourceful with common sense and proven problem-solving skills.
- Ability to be discreet and handle confidential, sensitive information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Core working hours are generally 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday; willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and as unique projects/needs arise. Punctuality is essential.
- Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.
