About the role

Are you someone who enjoys being the go-to person in a busy office, loves helping others and takes pride in creating a great first impression?

We are looking for a Receptionist & Business Services Assistant to join our Sydney office on a full-time, permanent basis.

As a key member of our Business Services team, you’ll be at the heart of the day-to-day running of the office. From welcoming clients and visitors to supporting our people with business services, facilities and office administration, you’ll help create a professional, welcoming and well-organised environment.

It’s a varied, hands-on role where no two days are quite the same. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the firm and have plenty of opportunity to build your skills and make the role your own.

Key responsibilities

  • Be a welcoming first point of contact for clients, visitors and colleagues, providing professional and friendly reception support
  • Support the day-to-day operation of the office and respond to general business services and facilities enquiries
  • Assist with meeting rooms, functions, events and conferences, ensuring spaces are organised and ready to go
  • Coordinate office supplies and help ensure shared spaces and facilities are well maintained
  • Liaise with building management and internal teams on tenancy, access and security matters as required
  • Assist with court filing, document collections, banking and other business services tasks
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the wider office and Business Services team

  • A friendly, professional and approachable manner with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Strong customer service skills and confidence communicating with a wide range of people
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication
  • The ability to take initiative, stay organised and adapt when priorities change
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
  • Previous reception, administration, office services or customer-facing experience would be highly regarded
  • Experience supporting events or conferences would be beneficial
