Redeemer Health Care Center, a 5-star rated, 119-bed senior living campus located in Uptown, is hiring a Part-Time Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will manage the phones and greet guests. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and a passion for working with older adults. 

This is a Part-Time, benefit eligible position working Evenings (2:30pm to 8:00pm) 5 to 7 weekdays per 2 week pay period and Days (8:00am to 2:00pm) every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

What does a Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant do?

  • Answer incoming calls, transfer calls, and take messages as necessary.
  • Greet visitors and guests professionally, warmly and determine their nature and purpose of visit.
  • Ensure visitors sign in and are issued a visitor tag.
  • Direct and/or accompany visitors and guest to appropriate destination.
  • Review, organize, post and audit resident trust account withdrawals in the billing system.
  • Sort and distribute mail.
  • Perform various typing assignments and miscellaneous clerical duties for all departments as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required.

What does a Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant require?

  • High school diploma or equivalent with previous customer service or reception experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Place a high priority on customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to prioritize and organize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Able to work with frequent interruptions.
  • Dependable, punctual and able to work flexible hours.
