Job Summary:             

TheraCare Home Health is seeking a professional and customer-focused Multi-Branch Receptionist to support daily operations across multiple home health locations. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, referral sources, vendors, and staff while managing high-volume inbound calls and ensuring accurate call routing. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment while supporting smooth communication across multiple branches.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a receptionist, call center, customer service, or healthcare support role preferred
  • Experience in home health, healthcare, or multi-site medical office environments preferred
  • Strong verbal communication and professional phone etiquette
  • Ability to manage high-volume inbound calls and multiple phone lines efficiently
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems, Microsoft Office, and phone software
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with healthcare terminology preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in Englis
Essential Functions:
  • Answer and manage high-volume inbound phone calls for multiple home health branch locations
  • Identify the correct branch location and route calls to the appropriate department or team member
  • Transfer calls accurately to clinical, scheduling, intake, billing, administrative, or operational staff
  • Take detailed and accurate phone messages and ensure timely delivery and follow-up
  • Escalate urgent or time-sensitive calls according to established protocols
  • Provide professional, courteous, and compassionate communication to patients, caregivers, referral sources, and vendors
  • Maintain a positive and professional representation of the organization across all branch locations
  • Handle difficult or emotional calls with professionalism and empathy
  • Follow standardized call handling and routing procedures to support operational consistency
  • Maintain awareness of staff schedules, department contacts, and branch coverage needs
  • Document call notes, messages, and communications accurately when required
  • Support office operations and general administrative tasks as assigned
  • Promote efficient communication and workflow between branches and departments
